GCP Data Engineer
Location: Anywhere in India
Work Mode : Hybrid/Remote
But if they are in any of the client locations, Bangalore, Pune, Chennai, Hyderabad or Gurgaon then they might have to come to the office.
Role Description
- 1-5+ years of experience in software design and development
- 1 years of experience in the data engineering field is preferred
- 1+ years of Hands-on experience in GCP cloud data implementation suite such as Big Query, Pub Sub, Data Flow/Apache Beam, Airflow/Composer, Cloud Storage,
- Strong experience and understanding of very large-scale data architecture, solutioning, and operationalization of data warehouses, data lakes, and analytics platforms.
- Hands on Strong Experience in the below technology
- 1. GBQ Query
- 2. Python
- 3. Apache Airflow
- 4. SQL (BigQuery preferred)
- Extensive hands-on experience working with data using SQL and Python
- Cloud Functions. Comparable skills in AWS and other cloud Big Data Engineering space is considered.
- Experience with agile development methodologies
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills with the ability to clearly present ideas, concepts, and solutions
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or closely related discipline
AWS Lead / Architect
Experience: 10+ years
Location: Chennai / Bangalore / Pune / Hyderabad (Any location from below.. working 2 days from office )
Key Responsibilities:
1. Cloud Architecture & Development:
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable AWS cloud solutions for data platforms.
- Develop data pipelines using AWS services, ensuring performance and cost efficiency.
2. Data Engineering & Analytics:
- Build and optimize data pipelines in AWS for Data Lake and Data Warehouse solutions.
- Hands-on experience with Data Frames, Python programming, and unit testing for Glue and Python code.
- Implement best practices in data engineering, storage, and ETL processes.
3. Database & Performance Optimization:
- Expertise in AWS Redshift, including writing stored procedures, leveraging Redshift Data API, and creating federated queries.
- Performance tuning and optimization of Redshift and Aurora databases.
- Advanced SQL scripting and experience in orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow, AWS Step Functions, etc.
4. Stakeholder Management & Communication:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders, to define requirements and deliver optimal solutions.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the engineering team.
- Ensure clear and concise communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 10+ years of IT experience with deep expertise in AWS cloud services such as S3, Redshift, Aurora, Glue, and Lambda.
- Proven experience in designing and developing end-to-end Data Platforms using AWS.
- Strong programming skills in Python and hands-on experience in unit testing.
- Expertise in SQL scripting and working with AWS Redshift.
- Experience in database performance tuning for AWS Redshift and Aurora.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of backend developers to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend solutions using .NET Core/.NET Framework.
- Architect, implement, and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration.
- Implement best coding practices, security protocols, and performance optimization techniques.
- Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and ensure adherence to coding standards.
- Work in an Agile development environment, actively participating in sprint planning and team meetings.
- Stay updated with emerging .NET technologies and cloud solutions (preferably Azure or AWS).
Qualifications & Skills
- 6+ years of experience in backend development using .NET Core, C#, ASP.NET, and Web API.
- Strong knowledge of SQL Server, Entity Framework, and database design principles.
- Experience in cloud-based application development (Azure/AWS).
- Proficiency in microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes is a plus).
- Experience with unit testing frameworks (xUnit, NUnit, Moq).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and version control (Git).
- Strong problem-solving skills, leadership qualities, and ability to work independently.
